I spent the first decade of my career delivering criminogenic interventions in prisons in Western Australia and Victoria, before taking on a more therapeutic role providing mental health services within the prison system. For five years I ran my own private psychology practice, before returning to prisons with a focus on prisoner wellbeing and suicide prevention.

In my work with clients, I primarily use psychodynamic therapy. I also integrate elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Acceptance Commitment Therapy, and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.

For the past 10 years I have been a board-approved supervisor for provisional psychologists and those seeking clinical or forensic endorsement. I have provided supervision within organisations and privately.

I believe high quality supervision is extremely important for psychologists and other healthcare professionals. I aim to help all my supervisees develop both competence and confidence, practice self-reflection, and learn to be kind to themselves. I try to provide a safe and encouraging environment for supervisees to experience the inevitable highs and lows of a simultaneously demanding and rewarding profession.

I currently only offer supervision online via Google Meet, however I am happy to organise observation sessions as needed.
